Byrds is the only place so far that seems suitable, but it only has room for about 25-30 miles of trails. It would be really tough! I don't know if it would be fun for most folks. It is as rough as Brock. The upside is great facilities and a nice river. And there is already 8 miles of trail. What do ya'll think?

I think we should do it. We need trail. With all the riders in that area and a race at least once a year teh trails will not last long. But what the heck.

Also because it will help to tie in a trail from White Rock to Hagarville.

Gorman and I are trying to find a day we can get out to Cass and work on finding Darrell's old trails that parallel the Ozark Highland Trail.

Maybe Friday.
What are you doing this weekend?

Jim, there is 100 acres they havn't used yet, across the road, and the whole hill across the river is fair game to within 10 ft of the top, where their boundry stops. And the top is mostly owned by the Forestry, so we could use it and get it approved! The owner said it is rideable. He said there is a couple shelfs that you can't see from the campground. The problem is crossing the river. I don't think the trails would get ruined as quick as you think, it is too rugged for most riders. I plan to try to go up for a weekend and look around and maybe start a little work, depending on what I find. It will probably be in Nov. before I have time. If we could get 15 miles with what they have, it would be a good ride. They will supply ATVs, and some help if needed.

We'll get it done some day.
I think I'm going to concentrate on finding a trail system from Fly Gap to Ozone.

We'll meet out that way one of these days. Winter is always best.
