Mark,

Welcome aboard. What ATV class are you planning on racing in the AHSCS?
Do you still do the horse thing?

i was planing on my kfx, but the poker run wore me out. i would have been quicker on my 4x4. after i get the kfx set up it should be a little kinder to me. what do you ride fly ?

If I race any of the Arkansas races this year, it will probably be on a Banshee. So if I do, you should be lapping me once or twice.

Mark,
The poker run was a little wetter than most hare scrambles but I have raced in much worse conditions. Once my friends, Sammy, won the overall ATV on a stock Wolverine 4x4. The poker run trail was a very good example of what a hare scramble will be like so that is the terain you need to practice on. Let Old Crow dry out and try it again. It was good to see you again and lets ride soon!!!

cactus you sure know how to scare a fellow away. jk. thanks for the heads up. i need all the advice i can get. it was a blast but ruffer than i expected. break downs will haunt me until i learn that pace isn't just for nachos. hopefully lacefield will give me a good slap across the face when i start getting wound up. 100,000 situps and a salad wouldn't hurt me either.

how many laps in 2 hrs. assuming the course was like at the poker run ?
thanks yall

Can't tell how long a lap would take until race day. Weather could always change it. If you look at last years race results, the leaders did 8 laps. That is a bunch of laps for a ATV harescramble. It would be much nicer if laps were taking around 25 minutes but I doubt we will get those kind of times at Old Crow this year. I think the main things that riders without the best of luck lack are tires, skid plates and of course, momentum.

Mark start with a water and exlax diet!!!! Then every chance you get hit the woods. Dont ride over your head and keep a good pace. As a matter of fact pop a couple of exlax 2 hours before the race and make yourself finish the race before you go. You will either get fast or wear depends like me!!!!!

i'm not sure that would mix well with my moonshine, but if you think it will help...how's about i start on the kiddy trail. i feel confident that i could podium and we all know how important it is to get started on the right foot. maybe i'll develop a taste for lappers and get sponsored. and of course i wont forget yall when i make the show and move to hollywood.

dam that sounds easy on paper.
wasn't dungey riding in state fairs and birthday party's about a year and a half ago ?

who's my Johny OOOOOOOOO ?
