More on Sweet Spot - Invitational HS.October 10, 2006 @ 9:32pm
Anyone interested in racing the "Anual" Sweet Spot Invitational Hare Scrambles this year?

It's usually my gig and raced right around Christmas or New Years.

I have a little time to get it ready but will need help.

Zach Devereux holds the trophey in the 100 to 1000cc class.
Lisa Henderson holds the Under 100cc title.

No InterestNovember 6, 2006 @ 6:56am
Cary,
Doesn't seem to be much interest in the Sweet Spot Invitational HS.
I'm saying now that it is a no-go.

But I may still work the trails the last two weeks of December.

Hey I checked out the new section of trail you added and must say you did an outstanding job. I like it a lot.

When?November 6, 2006 @ 10:04pm
What day were you out there?
I rode Thursday afternon.
I saw tracks but the tracks took the origonal trail around the pond and not the new trail.

I rode a couple of Sunday's ago. I took the yellow ribbon to the right (instead of hitting the double jump downhill where Clint's uh o happened) and followed it down the hill and made the left turn yada yada.

I wish I knew the future of Sweet Spot because I'd like to start building new trails out there.

I have time the last two weeks of December to devote to the project.

But I don't really want to do all that if we are going to loose the place. There are other areas in the forest I need to be working on too.

The future? Who knows. A year ago I went to a meeting of city folks that were considering creating another walking /biking trail out there. Have not heard a word since pro or con. I think they gave up but you never know and I'm afraid to go into the steam room of the St. Mary's fitness center to find out.

I bet Jeremy and I would be up for that! I haven't raced it since the 1st annual race! Unless something else goes wrong you can more than likely count me and Jeremy in!

Yea, I'd be afraid of you in a steam room too!

Shannon,
I don't guess it's going to happen, just doesn't seem to be much interest.
And besides, you would proably need both feet to do any good anyway.
