| Old Crow Poker Enduro | February 24, 2008 @ 8:13pm | What an awesome turn out for our first Poker Enduro. Thanks to all of our great sponsors for the generous donations. Also a huge thanks to everyone who donated their time and efforts from day one of trail work and all the way to the closing minutes of today's ride. Without all of the people and sponsors who played a part in the Poker Enduro, this would have never happened. Big thanks to our concession providers for the good grub, we were all very glad to see you make it.
Finally, and what I believe most importantly, the biggest THANK YOU goes out to all of the riders who participated in our Poker Enduro. I am quite sure all of you got stuck or fell down at least once, maybe broke a part or two. Maybe you even had to be towed back, however I know that we all had great time and will be keeping an eye out for when the next one will be.
Stayed tuned. The River Valley Dirt Riders will be having more exciting "must participate" events in the near future and I hope to see you ALL there!
Thanks!!!

| After The Fact | February 26, 2008 @ 12:16am | | I couldn't help myself. I had to go to Crow and ride today and check out the trail. There are spots out there that are awesome after a day in the wind. There are some spots I went around 'cause I was afraid no one would ever find me if I fell in. The trail will recover. I thought there would be no way I'd ride Crow ever again after last years Hare Scramble but time heals all wounds. There will be some spots we'll need to get the shovel out and fix up a little. How 'bout we do that in August? That was a joke I hope somebody laughed at. I had a blast and I know from many conversations that others did as well. Now, I came to this event with money. I left with none! It went in to those hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks and cokes the Boy Scouts brought up there and I say a big thanks to them for working the grub for us. Thanks to those of you that showed up to ride and for those of you that helped make the event happen. I say it was a success! Anybody got $5 bucks? I want to wash my bike. |

| February 26, 2008 @ 12:50am | | What are you talking about $5? I spent $10 at the quarter car wash!!!!! I cleaned my bike, quad, and tractor. I bet there us still mud on them in places!!! I need $ for new front and rear brakes. I really had a great time yesterday inspite of the mud. |

| February 26, 2008 @ 2:32pm | | I have been talking with several attendes since the event and getting an over-whelming "thumbs up" response all the way. Everyone is already anxious to find out when the next one is going to be. I am thinking that some local car washes will be increasing their rates after this one. |
