Doug, Eddie & myself cleared some trail they had previously marked and it looks like it's going to be a fun poker run. I'd like to work at Crow Friday if anyone's interested. Merry Christmas to all!

Hey Doug & Eddie, I rode 8 miles on the new loop today and it's easy to see now. Nice and broke in. Cut some twigs and moved some stuff off the trail too. Looking good!

Cary I rode at OC Saturday and the trail was very hard to see in places. Let me know when you are going back and I want to work and ride. As you know weekdays are better for me the the unemployed one. This Friday I will be at Bob ride at BC..

Mike, Sunday after Church, Monday & Tuesday look good for me. Let me know what works for you and we'll sling some trees and dirt at OC.

Old Crow ClosedDecember 27, 2007 @ 6:21pm
Issac called me a little while ago to inform me Old Crow is now closed to riding. Issac wasn't able to get in so he cut the chain and said he was going to put his lock and chain on. The reason given was old motorcycle tires dumped there. I regret it but we had good use for a long time. Issac is going to contact Pete, I am just giving a heads up. I don't think Mrs Hull wanted us riding there anyway. I did inform Issac that we had done everything in our power to stop dumping by others.

Maybe we can still have events there. Pete can talk to the Hulls.

Either way they need to let us go clean up the land and remove all of or equiptment, old ribon and arrows. I dont want there to be any hard feeling toward our club.

Thanks Gorman.

I just ask that Pete and Gorman do what they can in talking to the Hulls in alowing the RVDRS to use their land.

If they do want us out for good then I will help in cleaning up all traces of us.

The old tires were not "dumped" there. They are stored there to use as trail baracades during races.

Jim I'll do the best I can. Thanks for the info on the tires.
The Hulls may think about selling the property. Issac wasn't out of shape or anything but I was caught off guard. Pete can do a betterjob salvaging any use. We will work on it. Money needs have changed some and that makes a difference.

I imagine Isaac was caught off guard being locked out of his land. I can sure understand that!

I think all of us have a lot of respect for Isaac and his Father and Grandmother. I don't think I have ever been on their property and not thought of them.

I can understand the Hulls entertaining the thoughts of selling the properties, the time/opportunity is almost right.

If there is anything I can do to help Isaac and Mrs. Hull in this I will.

I bet somebody locked the lock wrong and Isaac couln't get in. I am sure the trash he is talking about is the stuff under the tree for putting on a hare scramble. I don't know if we can change their mind but I have always loved riding there and I hope we can work something out. I will help in whatever way is needed to cleanup.

I'm not surprised but I am bummed. I'll do whatever's needed to help out as well. Be sure to let Isaac & Mary know there's several club members that are more than willing to help them any way we can. I appreciate them letting us ride there all these years and for that I say "Thank You". I, like Devro, think of them every time I've ridden there. Keep us posted and know I'll be there whenever needed.
