| Chris White's Mom: R.I.P. | June 2, 2008 @ 4:22pm | Chris' mother lost her long fight with a terminal disease last Friday. She was 58 yrs old. The memorial service will be tomorrow at 7pm at Roller Owens funeral home on JFK in N Little Rock.
Flowers can be sent to: Roller Owens Funeral Home 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock Ar. 72116 In care of the Linda White family.
Chris is a member of our club who lives in NLR, and has been taking care of his mother for several years while she battled a long lasting terminal illness.
Most of you probably don't know Chris. Because of his care of his mother, living in NLR, and often working evenings, he has rarely been able to make the club meetings. He has; however, been to several of the meetings regarding trail closures by the F.S. and has attended an AR. Trails Council meeting or two. Chris has helped me many times working on the trails at Brock Creek, and he organized a benefit ride to raise money for the family of Elmer Symons who passed away in the Dakar Rally two yrs ago. Please keep Chris and his family in your thoughts and prayers. |

| June 9, 2008 @ 8:36pm | Sorry to hear about your Mom Chris. I'll be praying for you and your family. No matter how long you have to prepare, loss is never easy. I'm glad Jesus comforts those that mourn (Matthew 5:4). Let us know if you need anything.
