I'm sure all you SS regulars know this but I understand that the boat launch site is starting to get dirt moved. If we want to continue to use this place we need to start working with the city and the COE.

Mac Hollis is the city's Parks and recreation guy to talk to and Joel Epperson (SP) is the guy at the Corps of Engineers. Joel hangs out at the Old Post visitor’s center building. He was suppose to talk with his boss about a kind of wavier for the environmental assessment and we owe him some sort of a Memorandum of Agreement for how we plan to make the SS work for all parties concerned.

If we wait long enough we won't have to worry about anything as the city will make our decision for us.
